- 200 gr flour
- 125 gr margarine
- 50 gr cocoa
- 1 cup strong coffee (Espresso or 1 cup of water with 4tsp Nescafe)
- 250 gr sugar
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 vanilla
- 2tsp baking powder
In a bowl, beat the butter and the sugar.
Add the eggs, the cocoa, the baking powder, the vanilla and the coffee and beat until mix is smooth.
Finally, add the flour and beat a bit more.
Pour the mixture in a 30x11cm well buttered cake form and bake for about 40-50 minutes in a preheated oven at 190°C, until when a toothpick put in the center of the cake, comes out clean.
Remove from the oven, let it stand for 10 minutes and overturn on a rack to cool completely.
Glaze the cake with hazelnut praline optionally.
